Rick's bio:

My name is Rick Thompson, I was born in Cleveland, Ohio, and raised in a musical Christian home. I began to play piano and sing at a very early age and was always encouraged to do so. I came from a background of singers and musicians, which consisted of the Thompson Family Singers.

I began in the music ministry as the Worship Leader for the Sanctuary of Praise Church of God in Garrettsville, Ohio around 1990- mid 1998. During that period of time I began to rite several Praise and Worship Chorsus.

I then became the Worship Leader of Shepherd’s Joy Ministry in mid 1998 – 2002. I then proceeded to go on the road in a traveling ministry with Ziggy Sanchez Evangelistic Association, for a short period.

In 2004, I entered Akron Idol,(placed 2nd),In 2005, I entered in Garrettsville Idol,(placed 2nd), In 2006, re-entered Garrettsville Idol, and took 1st Place as hometown favorite.

I have recently completed my first CD project with Destiny Records and Productions, with which I have found pleasure of working with annointed, talented men of God.

I am pleased to be releasing this CD project so that it can become a blessing to all that hear it and that God may use His anointing to minister to those in need, and that lives will be changed by His awesome Power.

Worship is such a vital necessity for Gods people, which I believe, is missing in the world today. Intimate worship with God is healing in itself. I thank God for the Love and Grace He gives, to allow us to come into His presence, boldly, to worship Him in spirit and in truth.
