In 1984, the dream of a drummer, posted on a grocery store bulletin board, began to take shape in the basement of a home in the country. Music began to take shape and Witness was born. Though it is now more than 22 years later, the vision and purpose remain.

The desire continues to grow, and the opportunities are beginning to flourish.

That drummer, George, still holds the beat. A guitarist, Ken, started with him from the beginning. Oh, there were more, many more, singers, keyboardists, bassist, and others who have come and gone. In 1986, we met Dan. He plays guitar also. Dan now does all of our lead vocals. Some years later John came along to hold down the low end on bass.

Oh the changes over the years, but the four of us remain. Now finally, it’s right.

The dream? To share the Gospel of Christ through the medium of music.

The Vision? To see peoples lives change as they give themselves to Jesus.

The Purpose? To fulfill a calling to serve God in all aspects of life.


Witness has ministered throughout Ohio for the last 22 years in churches, roller rinks, gyms and auditoriums. We’ve performed on Cleveland’s Public Square, and in Columbus’s King’s Place. In schools and in cow pastures doing what we’ve done from the beginning. Proclaiming Christ with Music.


Worship is a big part of our ministry. We often do worship services on Sunday mornings.

We are also prepared to share the Word of God in a relevant message for today. Also we love to Rock the house in a concert setting.


George is now a missionary, and many doors have opened for Witness.

In April 2007 Witness will be traveling to Costa Rica for a week of ministry and music concerts. In August 2007 Witness will be traveling to Bolivia for the South American Conference for Campus Crusade for Christ. Witness will be playing all the North American Worship and original Christ centered Rock and Roll.
